Montecristo Maltes series 1935

One of the biggest highlights of the 19th Habanos Festival was undoubtedly the presentation of the Línea 1935 de Montecristo. Named after the brand's founding year, the range contains three new generously sized Vitolas. The Maltés (53 x 153mm) as well as the Dumas (49 x 130mm) and the Leyenda (55 x 165mm) which use the same format as the special edition Montecristo 80 Aniversario, launched in 2015 to celebrate the brand's 80th anniversary.

The cigars of this new line have been handcrafted with the utmost care after selecting the best tobacco leaves from Vuelta Abajo, the best tobacco growing region in the world. The cigars from this new line receive a beautiful caramel-colored dressing as well as a more full-bodied taste than the other lines of Montecristo. It is only after controls and tastings by the most experienced experts, including members of the Tobacco Research Institute, the National Tasting Commission and, of course, Habanos SA itself, that Montecristo Línea 1935 was put on the market. The Montecristo Maltés, Dumas and Leyenda are available in boxes of 20 cigars.
