Trinidad

The brand adopted this name in honor of a magnificent city, Santisima Trinidad, the first city founded in the 16th century on the south coast of the island of Cuba. The city is also classified as a UNESCO heritage site. We have to go back to 1969 to see the first Habanos Trinidad appear. But, following the example of the Cohiba, the Trinidads are reserved for diplomats and high foreign dignitaries. It was not until 1998 that the brand was marketed with a single module, The Fundador. In 2004, 3 new modules joined the line: the Reyes, the Coloniales and the Robusto Extra. Taste-wise, Trinidads are medium-intensity cigars.
